The online guide is the current and authoritative version. Select Print this page for this Quick Start, or open the shared Accordion Agenda Quick Start when training agenda administrators. The print dialog can also save a PDF. We are considering prepared accessible PDFs for short references—not duplicate copies of every complete guide. Reviewer feedback about that approach is welcome.

On an iPad or iPhone, use the browser's Share button in the toolbar, then select Print. The How to print button displays this reminder.

Start by reviewing District Administrator responsibilities, including first-line support, user and Group access, content oversight, and the limits of District Administrator authority.

On a smaller screen, select ☰ Topics to open the documentation menu.

Common workflow

  1. Sign in with your individual District Administrator account.
  2. Select Manage, then People.
  3. Search for the username or email address before creating an account.
  4. Select Add user when no account exists.
  5. Enter a unique email address and username, set the initial password, select Active, and create the account.
  6. Open Groups, select the correct group, and open Members.
  7. Select Add member, choose the existing user, and assign Group Admin only when approved.
  8. Save and verify the account, role, and membership.
  9. When access must stop, block the account and confirm its status.

Use least access

Add only the roles and memberships the person needs. Never share an administrator account for testing.

District Administrator role requests

Only schoolboard.net Support can add, delete, or modify a District Administrator role assignment, including removing the role from an account. Submit every request in writing by email to schoolboard.net Support. There is no system limit, but schoolboard.net recommends only two or three District Administrators per district.
